Job summary

Quality Start in Walsall is seeking an Electrical and Electronics Design Engineer to lead PCB design, schematic capture, and layout for embedded ARM-based systems. You will contribute to motor control modules and power-supply designs, ensuring compliance with safety and EMC standards.

You will use CAD tools to create and maintain design documentation, and you will debug and refine electrical designs in a regulated environment as part of a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Experience in PCB design: schematic capture, layout, and verification.
• Embedded systems design with ARM and RTOS.
• Exposure to power supplies and EMC/testing in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Support design and validation of embedded ARM-based systems.
• Develop and verify motor control modules for precision mechanical systems.
• Design and review DC/DC and AC/DC power supplies.
• Support product safety and EMC activities including testing and debugging.
