Job summary

Michael Kors is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to lead the creation and execution of email communications across the 50 markets in the EMEA region. You will collaborate with Design, Ecommerce, Web Production, Brand Marketing and North America to deliver engaging campaigns.

In this role you will drive Dynamic Yield personalization, manage end-to-end campaigns, analyze results, and optimize processes. A strong foundation in ESPs, analytics, and multi-channel coordination is essential.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in email marketing, preferably fashion retail
  • Experience with ESPs
  • Analytics & reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe
  • Strong understanding of email KPIs and how to communicate insights
  • Highly organized with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication; ability to brief clearly
  • Ability to coordinate amends/approvals across teams
  • Knowledge of audience segmentation & personalization
  • Hands-on with Dynamic Yield or similar personalization platforms
  • Proactive with stakeholder management and idea generation
  • Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Produce weekly and monthly performance reports
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and competitors
  • Collaborate with the ESP Oracle Responsys

Email Marketing Specialist

Who You Are:

What You'll do:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer Retention, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of the email communication plan across the 50 markets of the EMEA region. You will be coordinating across multiple departments from Design, Ecommerce, Web Production, Brand Marketing, Retail Marketing and with our colleagues in North America.

  • Working alongside another Email Specialist, you will manage end to end campaign and content briefs for specific email campaign types, working with key stakeholders such as Buyers, Creative, Ecommerce and Trade teams.
  • You will design and optimize business processes around BAU Marketing emails, ensuring that QC levels are maintained and that local nuances, such as language are accounted for.
  • Analyze campaign results and trends on a weekly basis, providing concise insights and coming up with suggestions for improvement and optimisation.
  • Drive dynamic content delivery and personalization initiatives using the Dynamic Yield platform, configuring, implementing, and testing targeting rules, audience segments, and personalization logic to optimize customer experiences.
  • Drive SMS channel performance through strategic campaign planning, audience segmentation, copy briefing, and the scheduling and execution of targeted on-demand messaging.
  • Work with CRM and Analytics to review audience segmentation and targeting strategies to deliver relevance to our customers.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports that explain performance.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and competitor activities, bringing fresh ideas to test
  • Work with, and help to manage the ESP, Oracle Responsys.
You’ll Need to Have:
  • 2+ years working in email marketing, ideally in a fashion retail environment
  • Experience working with ESP’s
  • Practical experience with analytics & reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe
  • Solid understanding of email KPIs, with the ability to derive insights and articulate the meaning to a diverse business audience
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with ability to present in meetings and write clear and informative briefs
  • Capable of coordinating amends and approvals from various teams in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of audience segmentation & targeting for personalization
  • Hands-on experience with Dynamic Yield or similar personalisation platforms
  • Proactive and solutions-focused mindset with a can-do attitude, comfortable approaching stakeholders directly and proposing new ideas or ways of working
  • Strong PC Skills – Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint
