Role: Senior Project Engineer

Location: Oundle, Peterborough

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week

Salary range from: £40,000 (experience dependent)

Eltek Systems is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support our ongoing projects in the UK and internationally.

About the role

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful delivery of a range of projects, including conceptual design to meet customer specifications, consultancy, software integration, installation, and commissioning within specified time and budget constraints.

The successful candidate will manage all relevant project documentation such as planning and progress reports, hold regular progress meetings with the project team, and liaise with third parties.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
2. Manage conceptual design, software integration, installation, and commissioning processes.
3. Prepare and maintain planning and progress reports.
4. Conduct regular progress meetings with the project team and coordinate with third parties.
5. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.

The Person

• Experience within the food industry is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Customer-facing experience, liaising with suppliers and clients.
• Proven track record in managing quick turnaround technical projects.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
