M&E Global is a defence contractor providing services on complex military equipment and aircraft for UK and US contractors. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Traffic Management/Cargo Specialist to join our team.

Based in Fairford, UK you’ll work alongside our dedicated workforce on a UK Military base. Prior Traffic Management/Cargo experience is required, with on-site training provided to further develop your skills in handling a diverse range of military equipment.

Qualifications

• Prior Traffic Management/Cargo experience required.
• On-site training will be provided.
• Experience loading/unloading trucks and handling cargo.
• Ability to check shipping documentation for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks arriving at the site.
• Ensures cargo documentation is accounted for and distributed.
• Prepares manifesting and operates MHE and special vehicles.
• Inspects inbound/outbound cargo paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
• Verifies nomenclatures, hazard class, quantity and packaging.
