Job summary

OCR Alpha, a London-based hedge fund, is seeking a Trading Assistant to join the London team as the business grows. The ideal candidate will have several years in a Trading Assistant, Trade Support or Sales Support role at a hedge fund or investment bank, with strong Rates experience preferred. Key responsibilities include booking trades, calculating NPVs, supporting PMs and Traders, and providing execution support.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a Trading Assistant, Trade Support or Sales Support role at a hedge fund or investment bank.
• Experience at reputable financial institutions is valued.
• Strong Rates experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Booking trades into risk systems.
• Calculating NPVs for unwinds and novations.
• Supporting PMs and Traders with ad hoc requests across positions, market data, risk management and FX rolls.
• Providing execution support where required.
