Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking a Sports Infrastructure Design Lead to drive the design and delivery of stadiums, elite training facilities and Field of Play projects across the UK and internationally. You will coordinate drainage, water infrastructure, undersoil heating and ventilation within a BIM-enabled multidisciplinary team.

This role invites engineers from Civil, MEP, Building Services or Infrastructure backgrounds to apply their design and coordination skills to elite sport, with travel across

Qualifications

• Around 5+ years' experience in engineering design.
• Experience coordinating interdisciplinary engineering designs.
• Background in Civil, MEP, Building Services, Drainage or water infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Field of Play drainage and irrigation systems.
• Oversee water infrastructure and associated utilities.
• Lead undersoil heating, ventilation and monitoring systems coordination.
• Coordinate interfaces with Civil, Structural, MEP, architectural and landscape designs.
• Develop and review drawings, BIM models and engineering details.
• Produce performance specifications, technical schedules, BoQs and Basis of Design docs.
• Review calculations, contractor submissions, RFIs and shop drawings.
• Lead design reviews and identify coordination and construction risks.
• Work within BIM-led environments and federated models.
• Own design deliverables, programmes and technical priorities.
