Ransomes Jacobsen Ltd - Sales Specialist Role

We are seeking two dynamic and knowledgeable Sales Specialists to join our ELiTE sales team. These positions are pivotal in promoting and selling our electrified turf care equipment to golf courses in the UK and Ireland. The ideal candidates will possess strong commercial acumen, a passion for sales, and the capability to master the value proposition and technical aspects of our electrified turf care equipment. They will have an adaptable approach, engaging effectively with General Managers, Head Greenskeepers, and Mechanics to ensure our solutions meet operational and technical needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Execute and define sales strategies to promote the electrification of golf course turf management.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with golf course General Managers, Greenskeepers, and Mechanics.
  3. Understand and articulate the commercial benefits of our products, including cost savings, efficiency, and sustainability.
  4. Conduct tailored product demonstrations of electrified turf care equipment as required.
  5. Collaborate with our dealer network to ensure seamless sales processes and customer satisfaction.
  6. Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
  7. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in turf care and electrification.
  8. Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  9. Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and market demands.
  10. Utilise CRM software to track sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups.
About You
  1. Proven experience in sales, preferably within the turf care, golf, or capital equipment industries.
  2. Willingness to acquire a strong understanding of turf care equipment and electrified products through training.
  3. Excellent commercial skills, including deal structuring and margin analysis.
  4. Effective communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
  5. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a passion for sales.
  6. Technical aptitude and ability to acquire product knowledge.
  7. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  8. Valid UK driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
