Job summary

Brentford FC Limited is seeking a dedicated U18 Goalkeeper Coach (PDP) to lead the professional development of young goalkeepers at our Training Ground. You will deliver an elite, periodised GK programme, aligning with the Academy’s methodology and game model.

You will collaborate with the Head of Academy Goalkeeping and interdisciplinary staff to ensure consistent standards, develop IDPs, provide feedback, and prepare players for progression to senior football.

Qualifications

UEFA B License in coaching goalkeepers is required.
Advanced Youth Award or equivalent is required.
Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF) is necessary.
FA Safeguarding certification is required.
Experience coaching PDP within an Academy environment.
Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
Understanding of EPPP standards.
Experience leading and managing a group of goalkeepers.

Responsibilities

Coach and develop U18 PDP goalkeepers within the academy.
Plan, deliver and evaluate goalkeeper sessions aligned with the academy curriculum.
Collaborate with the U18 Head Coach and staff to integrate goalkeeper development into the team programme.
Lead multi-disciplinary activities with S&C, Medical, Analysis, Psychology and Education.
Develop and review Individual Development Plans for goalkeepers.
Provide regular performance feedback and maintain records of progress.
Support game prep and post-match reviews for goalkeepers.
Assist Recruitment with identification and assessment of potential recruits.
Utilise Kitman Labs for planning and evaluation of PDP goalkeeper sessions.
Ensure safeguarding and academy rules are followed.
