Job summary

HCA UK’s Harley Street Clinic in London seeks a Senior Cardiac Physiologist (Non-Invasive) to join a leading cardiology team. The role covers non-invasive investigations, stress testing and Holter analysis, with opportunities for cath lab or pacing training in due course.

The successful candidate will report findings to cardiology colleagues and provide autonomous patient care. We welcome recently graduated candidates who can independently report on exercise stress tests and Holter analyses.

Qualifications

• ECG performance, theory & practice of cardiac investigations. Indication & contraindications for performing investigations.
• Ambulatory monitoring hook-up and analysis of Holter recording.
• Exercise stress test performance and understanding of cardiology issues.
• ILS certification held.
• Experience in Outpatient Cardiology Service.

Responsibilities

• Be technically proficient in non-invasive cardiology procedures: ECGs, Stress tests, Ambulatory BP and ECG.
• Analyse and interpret ECG recordings for adults and children and communicate findings to team.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient status in non-invasive cardiology.
• Deliver autonomous, patient-centered care and anticipate further investigations.
• Provide technical cover across cardiology department including on-call duties.
• Prepare equipment with daily checks and calibration of cardiac investigation devices.
• Investigate equipment faults and coordinate with biomedical engineering.
