Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Senior Nanny and Household Manager for a distinguished family in Randburg, Gauteng. You will oversee daily childcare for two school-aged children and manage household operations with discretion and leadership.

You will coordinate schedules, supervise domestic staff, and ensure a safe, organized, and nurturing home environment. CPR/First Aid and a valid driver's license are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality childcare for two school-aged children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met.
• Manage children's schedules, including school drop-offs/pick-ups, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
• Assist children with homework and school projects, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Plan and organize engaging recreational activities, outings, and playdates.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Oversee household staff (e.g., cleaners, gardeners), providing direction and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
• Manage grocery shopping, household supplies, and inventory.
• Maintain general tidiness and organization within the household.
• Handle family errands and other ad-hoc duties as required.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and household matters.
