Job summary

PRS (Phoenix Resourcing Services) is seeking an M&E Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join a small team at a six-storey Edwardian property in Central London. You will carry out first-line maintenance across building services, including mechanical and electrical tasks and general repairs.

Key responsibilities include planned and reactive maintenance, assisting with HVAC and BMS systems, and supporting the operation of building services in a luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or facilities management, ideally in hotels or high-end residential environments.
• Basic working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC and general building services.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across building services.
• Assist with HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing faults, subject to experience.
• Monitor and support operation of BMS-controlled systems, with training provided.
• Maintain hot water systems, taps, showers and small appliances.
• Perform minor repairs to doors, walls, floors and finishes.
• Install shelves, pictures, mirrors and other fixtures.
• Support maintenance within commercial kitchen areas.
• Carry out preventative checks and respond to maintenance issues.
• Maintain professional standards across front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
