Job summary

Bedfordshire Police is recruiting an Enhanced Intelligence Development Officer for the Sensitive Intelligence Unit in Stevenage. You will contribute to ROCU and Force-led operations, applying intelligence techniques to identify and disrupt serious organised crime.

The role involves collecting and analysing information from sensitive data sources, supporting enforcement, asset recovery and offender disruption. Training and IPP accreditation are provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in intelligence research and an investigative mindset.
• Experience within a covert environment is desirable but not essential.
• APT accreditation (IPP) would be advantageous and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Work within the Sensitive Intelligence Unit to support ROCU and Force-led operations.
• Conduct intelligence collection against Organised Crime Groups across multiple crime types.
• Exploit and enhance intelligence from sensitive data sources to inform enforcement actions.
• Contribute to disruption of serious and organised crime and support partner agencies.
