Job summary

Liverpool FC is seeking a Skilled Gardener to maintain landscaped areas across training grounds, stadium perimeters, and public spaces to reflect a world‑class Premier League club.

You will be responsible for planting, pruning, mowing, irrigation monitoring, and seasonal planting schemes, while upholding health and safety standards and sustainable practices. This is a full-time role requiring flexibility for matchdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in professional horticulture, landscaping, or grounds maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of plant species, soil types, turf care, and best practices.
• Competent in the safe and effective use of gardening and grounds machinery.
• Good understanding of health and safety, including COSHH awareness.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality maintenance of landscaped areas including planting and pruning.
• Mow, edge, mulch, weed and border management to an elite standard.
• Monitor plant health and soil conditions, handling irrigation as needed.
• Maintain turf and ornamental grass to elite finishes.
• Support biodiversity initiatives and sustainable landscaping practices.
