Job summary

Tottenham Hotspur is seeking a First Team Reconditioning Coach to lead the mid-to-end stage of return-to-performance for injured players, guiding them from rehabilitation to full team training and match readiness.

The role collaborates with physiotherapists and the multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised gym- and pitch-based programmes, ensuring safe progression to peak performance and supporting broader performance initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• BSc in Sports Science or related discipline is essential.
• MSc in related field is essential.
• Recognised Strength & Conditioning qualification with ongoing professional development.
• UKSCA accreditation (desirable).
• UEFA B Licence (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of gym- and pitch-based reconditioning programmes for First Team players.
• Provide daily/weekly updates on player status and return-to-train timelines.
• Support on-pitch warm-ups, conditioning, and matchday preparation as required.
• Utilise GPS and performance data to monitor training load and progression.
• Maintain accurate records of player status, training exposure and progression.
