Job summary

Comunidadlift's First Team Physiotherapist will deliver daily physiotherapy services to First Team players, ensuring high standards of injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and injury prevention within a high-performance football environment.

• Deliver daily physiotherapy services to First Team players, ensuring high standards of injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with Lead Rehabilitation Physiotherapist, Club Doctor and Performance Department to maximise player availability and minimise injury risk.
• Provide expert clinical care, oversee management of acute and chronic injuries, and contribute to return-to-play decisions.
• Support implementation of evidence-based medical and performance strategies within a high-performance football environment.
• Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Job description

The First Team Physiotherapist will be responsible for the daily delivery of physiotherapy services to First Team players, ensuring the highest standards of injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and injury prevention.

Working closely with the Lead Rehabilitation Physiotherapist, Club Doctor and Performance Department, the postholder will play a key role in maximising player availability, reducing injury risk and supporting optimal physical performance throughout the season.

The successful candidate will provide expert clinical care, oversee the management of acute and chronic injuries, contribute to return-to-play decision-making, and support the implementation of evidence-based medical and performance strategies within a high-performance football environment. This role requires excellent clinical reasoning, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
