Job summary

A reputable independent prestige and classic car specialist workshop in Richmond is seeking an experienced Classic/Modern Car Vehicle Technician. You will work with a diverse range of vehicles, from heritage restorations to modern sports cars, within a well-established team.

The role offers a salary up to £50,000 per annum, a performance-based bonus scheme, and a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:30am to 5:30pm, with a 1-hour lunch break. Own tools and a valid UK driving license are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a vehicle technician role within a specialist, franchised dealership, or independent garage.
• Full UK driving licence
• Relevant qualifications in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of classic and modern vehicles
• Proactive, team-oriented approach with excellent problem-solving skills
• Own tools is essential
• Passion for heritage and high-performance vehicles

Responsibilities

• Conduct servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of classic and modern vehicles
• Undertake restorations of heritage vehicles
• Perform vehicle road tests and diagnose faults accurately
• Maintain high standards of workmanship in line with company guidelines
• Support colleagues with technical advice and assistance
• Ensure workshop maintains a professional image and high quality of service
