Job summary

Birmingham City Football Club is seeking a highly professional Casual Academy Driver to join our Operations & Administration Department, ensuring safe and efficient transport for Academy players, trialists and staff across a busy weekly schedule.

You must hold a full clean driving licence for at least two years and have your own car with a valid MOT and breakdown cover. The role requires discretion, safeguarding awareness and a professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications

• Full clean driving licence for at least two years.
• Own car with valid MOT and breakdown cover.
• Confidence driving a range of vehicle types.
• Ability to work professionally within an elite sporting environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport Academy players, trialists, and staff per weekly schedule.
• Drive players between home addresses, training grounds, host accommodation, match venues, schools, airports, and other locations.
• Maintain professionalism and safeguarding standards at all times.
• Ensure vehicles are cleaned, serviced, and maintained per club policies.
• Report vehicle issues promptly to Head of Academy Operations & Administration.
• Wear correct uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and appraisal processes.
• liaise with the Safeguarding Team regarding concerns.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Head of Academy Operations & Administration.
