Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. is seeking a maintenance mechanic for an entity located in Cardiff.

Your role is to ensure passenger safety by maintaining a portfolio of elevator units across your territory, carrying out 100% of maintenance visits and responding quickly to breakdowns. You will manage a defined geographic area, perform minor repairs, and liaise with customers on site to build strong working relationships.

Qualifications

• Hold NVQ3 in Lifts maintenance mechanics
• Hold a drivers license
• Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering
• Committed professional with safety as priority
• Comfortable communicating to others
• Curious, adaptable, and able to work alone or in a team
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory
• Work within your defined geographical area / territory, managing the portfolio of elevators within it
• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix
• Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation
• Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship
