Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment is seeking an Electronics Tutor to move from industry into education. You will deliver practical and classroom electronics training and mentor learners.

No formal teaching experience is required as full qualifications and support will be provided. You should have hands-on electronics industry experience, understand components, circuits and testing equipment, and be willing to train and support learners; the role offers a starting salary of 37,300 GBP plus a 1,000 GBP annual

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience as a time served electronics engineer in a manufacturing / production / industrial environment.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and classroom-based electronics training.
• Mentor and support learners throughout their training programme.
• Utilise hands-on industry experience with electronics components, circuits and testing equipment.
• Maintain strong communication with learners and provide ongoing guidance.
