Job summary

Alstom in Mansfield is seeking an electronics repair technician to repair and test equipment to high standards. This permanent, on-site role focuses on timely, right-first-time repairs and close collaboration with the Repair Team.

You’ll work within a manufacturing environment, following health and safety rules and ALSTOM quality standards. The ideal candidate has electronics repair experience, a relevant apprenticeship or HNC level, and strong communication skills to work across teams.

Qualifications

• Electronics repair/engineering knowledge, ideally with HNC level.
• Experience in electronics repair and testing within a manufacturing setting.
• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Repair and test electronic equipment on time to the correct specifications and quality standards.
• Provide positive support to team members as required.
• Adhere to UK Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
• Comply with ALSTOM Engineering & Services Limited quality standards, factory rules, and HR policies.
• Meet KPI targets for Right First Time, efficiency, cost and service.
