Job summary

MTrec Commercial are seeking a Test and Diagnostics Technician to join their client’s manufacturing facility on a full-time basis. You will conduct comprehensive testing, troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment to meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities include functional testing, root-cause analysis, and documenting results. Proficiency with scopes, multimeters, and signal generators is required, with collaboration across engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of electronics testing and troubleshooting experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience with electronic testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional and diagnostic testing on electronic sub-assemblies and final products.
• Troubleshoot to component level, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
• Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators and ATE for testing.
• Interpret drawings and documentation to troubleshoot and repair systems.
• Assist calibration and maintenance of test equipment and records.
