Job summary

Redline Group Ltd in Fareham is seeking an Electronics Test Development Engineer to join a global leader in advanced gas sensors. You will design, develop, commission and sustain electronic hardware used in automated test equipment and manufacturing environments.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with R&D, Production and Quality to deliver robust engineering solutions, improve testing capability and support product innovation.

Qualifications

• Experienced Electronics Engineer with knowledge of mixed signal test and repair.
• Ability to design PCB/test boards independently.
• Electronics fault finding and repair on test equipment.
• Knowledge of LabVIEW / NI would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and sustain electronic systems for automated test equipment and manufacturing environments.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Test Development Engineer based in Fareham to join this global leader in advanced gas sensors supporting a wide range of industries.

Due to continued growth our client is looking for an experienced Electronic Test Development Engineer to join its multi disciplined engineering team and play a key role in the design, development, support and continuous improvement of electronic systems used within advanced gas sensor manufacturing and automated test environments.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will support the development, commissioning, maintenance and improvement of electronic hardware used in Automated Test Equipment, automation projects and manufacturing systems. You will work closely with R&D, Production, Quality, suppliers and customers to deliver robust engineering solutions that support both operational performance and product innovation.

Key skills & experience required for Electronic Test Development Engineer:

• Experienced Electronics Engineer, with sufficient knowledge of mixed signal test & repair
• Ability to design PCB / test boards independently
• Electronics fault finding and repair on test equipment
• Knowledge of LabVIEW / NI would be an advantage
• Qualified in HNC/HND or equivalent in a related discipline

British citizen / passport holder applicants ONLY. The role is required to be onsite 5 days a week. Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, and Friday, 9:00am to 3:00pm.
