Job summary
Sartorius Royston is seeking an Electronics System Engineer to join our Product Development team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will develop electronic and firmware solutions to enable new products and drive improvements across existing ones.
The role is based at Royston site with the option to work from home one day per week, subject to workload. You will design, develop, commission and test embedded software/firmware, electronics hardware, and interfaces, collaborating with
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Electronics with Embedded Software or equivalent.
- Knowledge of digital and analogue electronics for MCUs.
- Experience with RS232/RS422/RS485, USB, Ethernet.
- Experience with Python scripting and robot interfacing.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, commission and test embedded software/firmware.
- Design electronics solutions for machine control and signal conditioning.
- Develop interfaces between hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with project teams to define interface protocols.
- Provide support and training for machine-control sub-systems.
