Job summary

Neutronic Technologies is seeking an Electronics Repair Engineer to join our team in Warrington. You’ll diagnose, repair and overhaul a broad range of industrial electronics, including PLCs, HMIs, PCBs and power supplies, to support major UK manufacturers.

The role involves diagnosing faults, performing component-level repairs, reverse-engineering equipment when required, and troubleshooting without circuit diagrams, working closely with the repairs team and helping train other engineers.

Qualifications

• Diagnose, repair and overhaul a broad range of industrial electronics including PLCs, PCBs and HMIs.
• Experience with power supplies and temperature controllers.
• Reverse-engineering equipment where required.

Electronics Repair Engineer – Industrial Automation

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm

Location: Warrington

Neutronic Technologies is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team.

You’ll work with the electronics team to repair high-value industrial automation equipment for major manufacturing companies across the UK. Our customers operate in sectors including aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical, paper, packaging, brewing, and food.

The role

You’ll diagnose, repair and overhaul a broad range of industrial electronics, including power supplies, PLC systems, temperature controllers, PCBs and HMIs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing faults in industrial electronic equipment.
• Carrying out component-level repairs and overhauls.
• Reverse-engineering equipment where required.
• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment without circuit diagrams.
• Working collaboratively with the repair team to resolve technical challenges.
• Supporting the training and development of other team members.
