Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Barton under Needwood is seeking a hands-on Returns Operative to give returned electrical products a second life. You will test items such as TVs, laptops and mobile phones to assess functionality and determine if repairs are feasible.

Training will be provided for repairs; you will log faults in our system, maintain a clean workspace, and collaborate with returns and quality control teams to uphold high standards. Hours: Mon-Fri 07:10-15:10, pay £13.34 per hour.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical products and how they work.
• Experience with repairs or refurbishments is desirable, training provided.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pride in maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

Responsibilities

• Testing returned items (TVs, laptops and mobile phones) to assess functionality.
• Diagnosing and repairing minor faults to restore products to a sellable condition.
• Cleaning, repackaging, and labeling items for resale or recycling.
• Logging faults and repairs accurately in our system.
• Working closely with the returns and quality control teams to uphold high standards.
