Job summary

TechPoint is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of production operatives in manufacturing electronic assemblies, PCBs and sub-assemblies in a fast-paced setting. You will ensure output, cost, quality and safety targets are met.

The role focuses on organising daily operations, assigning tasks per schedule, and coaching staff to uphold work instructions and standards. A strong grasp of production processes and teamwork is essential to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a production or assembly environment, preferably electronics.
• Proven leadership or team coordination experience.
• Strong understanding of production processes and quality standards.
• Good communication skills — able to motivate team members and liaise with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Organise and oversee daily operations to meet output, quality and delivery targets.
• Allocate tasks to team members based on the production schedule and skill sets.
• Ensure that all team members understand and follow work instructions, assembly procedures, and quality standards
• Act as the first point of contact for resolving issues
• Support training and development of operatives — coach new staff, reinforce best practices, and monitor performance.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork.
• Report any delays, issues, or quality concerns to the Production Supervisor or relevant departments.
• Ensure work areas are maintained to 5S standards — clean, organised, and safe at all times.
• Ensure all timesheets are checked and approved
