Job summary

The Company in Basingstoke is seeking an experienced Production Manager to own a busy electronics manufacturing operation. You will lead daily production activities, plan and coordinate resources, and drive continuous improvement with a hands-on, collaborative team.

This role offers a structured day pattern and opportunities to influence processes across engineering, quality and supply chain. Candidates should have proven leadership in electronics manufacturing, strong Lean/5S knowledge, ERP

Qualifications

• Previous Production Manager experience within electronics manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of Surface Mount and Conventional Assembly processes, with a hands-on approach.
• Experience leading production teams and driving operational performance.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience using ERP or manufacturing systems alongside production reporting and data analysis.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Leading daily production activities to ensure quality, cost and delivery targets are achieved.
• Planning, scheduling and coordinating manufacturing operations and resources effectively.
• Managing and developing production teams while promoting a culture of safety, accountability and collaboration.
• Working closely with engineering, quality and supply chain teams to optimise manufacturing processes and resolve production issues.
• Monitoring performance metrics, implementing continuous improvement initiatives and supporting strategic production planning.
