Job summary

The Company in Basingstoke is seeking an experienced Production Manager to own a busy electronics manufacturing operation. You will lead daily production activities, plan and coordinate resources, and drive continuous improvement with a hands-on, collaborative team.

This role offers a structured day pattern and opportunities to influence processes across engineering, quality and supply chain. Candidates should have proven leadership in electronics manufacturing, strong Lean/5S knowledge, ERP

Qualifications

• Previous Production Manager experience within electronics manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of Surface Mount and Conventional Assembly processes, with a hands-on approach.
• Experience leading production teams and driving operational performance.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience using ERP or manufacturing systems alongside production reporting and data analysis.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

Production Manager The Company Are you an experienced Production Manager with a background in electronics manufacturing looking to take ownership of a busy production operation? We're working with a well-established electronics manufacturer that designs and produces bespoke electronic systems for customers across the Automotive, Rail, Aerospace, Military, Electric/Hybrid Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle sectors. Known for delivering high-quality products and building long-term customer relationships, they are looking to add a Production Manager to their Basingstoke team. As a Production Manager, you'll join a collaborative business where continuous improvement is encouraged, quality is paramount, and you'll play a key role in driving manufacturing performance and team development.

Role and Responsibilities

• Leading daily production activities to ensure quality, cost and delivery targets are achieved

• Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:00am-3:30pm Friday Early finish every Friday
