Job summary

Catering in Chelmsford is seeking a Production Engineer (Electronics) to lead improvements in manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies. You will work with R&D, Production, Design, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure efficient, cost-effective production and NPI readiness.

The role requires a degree in electronics or related field, experience in electronics manufacturing, and the ability to obtain SC clearance. A strong focus on process excellence and documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher qualification in electronics/electronics engineering.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing environment.
• Experience with process improvement and problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and manufacturing documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to obtain SC Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies and products.
• Perform root-cause analysis and structured problem solving on line faults.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain and engineering to resolve technical issues.
• Support New Product Introduction activities including process validation and production readiness.
