Job summary

DCV Technologies is seeking a Process Technician to join a busy electronics manufacturing environment in Fareham. You will support build, rework, modification and testing of electronic components and assemblies, following IPC standards and approved production procedures.

This hands-on role requires a methodical, detail-oriented approach, good communication, and proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint to compile test reports and maintain production documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar production or manufacturing role.
• Experience of electronics assembly, component rework, modification and testing.
• Knowledge of IPC standards and production procedures.
• Methodical and analytical approach with strong attention to detail.
• Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out component rework and modifications in accordance with IPC standards.
• Build assemblies following approved production procedures.
• Perform basic test routines at sub-assembly and GA levels.
• Compile test reports and complete production and quality documentation.
• Update and maintain relevant business information systems.
