Seismic Recruitment in Peterborough is seeking an Electronics & Instrumentation Technician on a 12 month rolling contract to support the EC&I team. You will calibrate, repair and maintain electronic control and data acquisition systems within the test facility to ensure high quality data and readiness for engine development.
Responsibilities include building/upgrading instrumentation panels, performing TPM and calibrations, and providing first line breakdown support to engine test cells.

37 hours a week: Mon - Thurs 8am - 4pm, Friday 8am - 3.30pm
Up to £22.05 PAYE hourly rate plus holiday and pension contribution OR Umbrella hourly rates up to £29.95 - depending on experience
Our client is a globally renowned world leader in the design, manufacture and support of a world class range of engines, they are looking for an Electronics & Instrumentation Technician to join their Electronics, Controls and Instrumentation (EC&I) team, who are responsible for the calibration and maintenance of the test facility measurement instrumentation and control systems to ensure quality data output is maintained and to assist engine development and verification.
The ideal candidate needs the knowledge, base skills, and experience to be able to calibrate, repair and maintain the electronic control and data acquisition systems including precision instrumentation within the facility to the high standard required to keep the company at the forefront of today's technology. This also includes the ability to maintain records, read and interpret technical drawings and work with engineers, contractors, and colleagues to install, commission, and maintain new, refurbished, and modified equipment.
