Job summary

Ex-Mil Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Electronics Field Service Engineer for a leading tech company specialising in life‑saving safety systems. You’ll cover the Manchester, Huddersfield or Leeds area along the M62 corridor, with a base salary of £41k plus overtime; ex-military backgrounds are particularly welcome.

Full product training is provided. You will service, calibrate and repair electronic detection equipment at customer sites, perform proactive maintenance, support multi‑engineer

Qualifications

HNC/HND in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
Strong hands-on technical background in electronics/field service.
Confident using test equipment (multimeters etc.).
Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

Service, calibrate, and repair electronic detection equipment.
Carry out proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning on customer sites.
Support team members on larger, multi-engineer jobs.
Ensure accurate service reports, RAMs and documentation.
Manage van stock and equipment to maximise first-time fixes where possible.
