Job summary
Ex-Mill Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Electronics Field Service Engineer to operate across Salisbury, Andover and Warminster. The role requires hands-on electronics/electrical knowledge and a willingness to travel to client sites for service and maintenance.
Full product training is provided; candidates with REM/E ME backgrounds are welcome. The role offers a base salary with overtime, a company van, and a comprehensive benefits package in a hands-on field environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in field service or test/repair is desirable but not essential.
- Strong electronics/electrical background with willingness to work hands-on on-site.
- Confident with test equipment and measurements.
- Good written and verbal communication with customers.
Responsibilities
- Service, calibrate, and repair electronic detection equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning on customer sites.
- Support on larger multi-engineer jobs as needed.
- Deliver user training once experienced.
- Prepare service reports and RAMs, ensure accurate documentation.
- Manage van stock and equipment to maximise first-time fixes.
- Cover the Salisbury, Andover, Warminster area.
