X4 Technology in Cambridge is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team focused on high-performance electronics. You will drive PCB design and analogue front-end development from concept to production, working closely with firmware, mechanical and systems engineers.

The role emphasises practical hands-on hardware work, prototyping, and test, with a hybrid working model and exposure to the full product lifecycle. 2–3 years of commercial electronics experience is expected.

Qualifikationen

• 2–3 years' commercial experience in electronics engineering.
• Strong PCB design experience.
• In-depth analogue front-end knowledge.
• Hands-on with hardware, prototypes and lab equipment.
• Experience with Altium Designer.
• Problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication in a multidisciplinary team.

Aufgaben

• Designing and developing electronic circuits from concept through to production.
• Taking ownership of PCB design and development.
• Working extensively on analogue front-end circuitry.
• Producing schematics and PCB layouts with Altium Designer.
• Building and testing prototypes and supporting board bring‑up.
• Debugging hardware using laboratory equipment and test tools.
• Supporting verification, validation and product testing.
• Working closely with firmware, mechanical and systems engineers.
• Supporting new product introduction and manufacturing.
