Job summary

Arm is seeking Electronics Engineers to join its Hardware Platform team, based in Cambridge. You will work on high-speed embedded hardware and PCB designs for next-generation SoCs and IP, delivering specifications, layouts and test plans with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes SI/PI, complex routing, and experience with Cadence tools. You will collaborate with hardware leads, participate in NPI discussions, and contribute to robust, scalable designs across global partner ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electronics, embedded compute systems and board design.
• Experience with high pin-count SoCs and FPGAs/CPLDs.
• Knowledge of high-speed IO standards and PCB routing guidelines.
• Experience with SI/PI techniques and lab test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and commission new hardware platforms and PCB layouts.
• Define routing guidelines, topologies and initial SI/PI analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines.
• Write design documentation, hardware specs and test plans.
