Job summary
Castle Employment is seeking an Electronics Engineer for a hands-on role with a manufacturing electronics company in Northallerton. You'll work across new product introduction, product support and manufacturing improvement, gaining practical experience on real products.
You should have a degree in Electronics or a related field and be comfortable in a manufacturing environment. Recent graduates are welcome; salary up to £40,000, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, permanent position.
Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification in Electronics or related field.
- Grounding in analogue and digital electronics; manufacturing exposure preferred.
- Recent graduates encouraged; strong technical foundation and practical mindset.
- Experience with PCB design tools advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Support transfer of products into manufacture.
- Provide practical electronics engineering support to production teams.
- Review products to improve manufacturability.
- Support analogue and digital design, modification and development.
- Investigate obsolescence and identify alternatives.
- Assist testing, validation and technical evaluation.
- Produce technical documentation and records.
- Develop test equipment and engineering tools.
- Collaborate across engineering, production and operations to improve quality.
