Job summary

Redline Group Ltd is seeking an Electronic Engineer based in Newark to join their client, a leading manufacturer serving regulated industries. The role focuses on hardware design, testing and documentation for control panel and interface technologies.

You will design analogue and digital circuits, use Altium Designer, support EMC testing, and collaborate with production teams to drive improvements. A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar is required, with experience in

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar.
• Experience in electronics design or manufacturing environment.
• Experience designing analogue and digital circuits using Altium Designer.
• Strong understanding of EMC design and compliance testing.
• Experience with digital communication protocols (SPI, I2C, USB).
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of programming languages (C/C#) and simulation tools (SPICE) would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development and testing of electronic hardware products.
• Manage and implement hardware design changes driven by cost, obsolescence, or performance improvements.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, and documentation to a high professional standard.
• Perform fault finding and debugging of electronic devices.
• Conduct quality and reliability analysis (e.G. MTBF).
• Support EMC testing and wider electrical validation activities.
• Work closely with production and production engineering teams to resolve issues and drive improvements.
