Awerian Ltd in Cambridge is seeking an Electronics Engineer to engage in innovative projects that support UK Defence and Homeland Security. In this role, you will work on the complete product life cycle—from requirements gathering to delivery. Successful candidates will have a relevant degree and experience in electronics hardware design. • Proven technical capabilities in design and development of complex technology solutions.
• Experience collaborating with engineers on system architecture and hardware design.

Responsibilities

• Explore pioneering concepts through collaboration with various teams.
• Involve in the whole product life cycle, from requirements capturing to delivery.
• Tackle diverse, real-world challenges from proof-of-concept to prototypes.

Skills

Electronics hardware design and schematic capture

Experience with low level data protocols (SPI, I2C, Ethernet, Modbus)

PCB layout design

Board bring-up, testing and documentation

FPGA firmware development

Embedded software development

Experience in C, C#, C++, MATLAB, Python or Simulink

High-speed electronics design
