Job summary

Pertemps are working with an established Manufacturing business based in Southampton who are recruiting for an Electronics Engineer to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position.

The role offers responsibilities spanning client liaison, CAD drawing packages, and CAD oversight, with a focus on accurate electrical design and compliance with project specs. Salary ranges and benefits accompany a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years electrical design experience.
• Understanding of AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles.
• Understanding of 3 Phase electricity is desirable.
• Excellent eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and support the team with project specs.
• Deliver high-quality drawing packages including schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Oversee CAD work during design to ensure accuracy and conformance.
• Follow specifications to prepare drawings to a high standard.
• Consult with engineers on model accuracy and drafting standards.
