Job summary

Pertemps are partnering with an established manufacturing business in Southampton to recruit an Electrical CAD Engineer on a full-time permanent basis. The role involves delivering high-quality drawing packages, collaborating with clients and ensuring compliance with technical specifications.

Candidates should have at least 2 years' electrical design experience, be proficient in AutoCAD or SolidWorks, and possess a solid understanding of electrical principles, with 3-phase knowledge desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years electrical design experience.
• Understanding of AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles.
• Understanding of 3 Phase electricity is desirable.
• Excellent eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with clients to understand technical requirements and support the team to ensure their understanding of the project specification.
• Deliver high quality drawing packages including schematics, general arrangements and wiring diagrams.
• Follow established technical specifications to prepare drawings to a high standard of accuracy.
• Consult with engineers regarding model accuracy, design and drafting standards.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, up to date and in keeping within company guidelines.
