Job summary

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of an established Manufacturing business in Southampton for an Electronics Engineer to join their team. The role is full time and permanent, with a salary range of £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities include delivering CAD drawings, collaborating with clients, and ensuring designs meet project specifications. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am–5:30pm, with 20 days annual leave rising to 25 days plus an Employee Assistance Programme and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years electrical design experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles.
• 3 Phase electricity knowledge desirable.

Electronics Engineer

Responsibilities as an Electronics Engineer :

• Collaborate closely with clients to understand technical requirements thoroughly and support the team to ensure their understanding of the project specification.
• Deliver high quality drawing packages including schematics, general arrangements and wiring diagrams.
• Oversea CAD work during the design stage and ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
• Follow established technical specifications to prepare drawings to a high standard of accuracy.
• Consult with engineers regarding model accuracy, design and drafting standards

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years electrical design experience
• Understanding of AutoCAD or Solid Works
• Strong understanding of electrical principles
• Understanding of 3 Phase electricity is desirable
• Excellent eye for detail

The Electronics Engineer role:

• Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
• Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising up to 25 days with length of service)
