Job summary

Reed Engineering in Dundee is seeking an Electronics Engineer with 2-5 years of industry experience to join a device engineering team on a full-time, permanent basis.

You will design circuits and schematics, perform PCB layout, and contribute to PCB manufacturing documentation while coordinating with the wider team on new devices.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as an Electronics Design Engineer.
• Degree in Electronic / Electrical Engineering.
• Strong experience with electronic design software (Altium).
• Live within a commutable distance of Dundee.

Responsibilities

• Generate schematic drawings, BOM, Gerber packages, bare board documentation and assembly documentation for PCB manufacturing.
• Coordinate design projects.
• Design circuits and schematics using Cadence.
• Perform physical PCB soldering and board debugging.
• Coordinate with the wider team to develop new devices.

Reed Engineering have once again partnered with a global organisation headquartered in the Dundee are who are seeking an Electronics Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Joining their device engineering team, this represents an opportunity for an Electronic Engineer level candidate to continue their career in a large-scale set-up. For this role, we are seeking 2 - 5 years' of industry experience.

This role can accommodate transition from other industries such as Oil & Gas, Scientific & Pharmaceutical.

You will mainly be designing circuits and schematics and carrying out PCB layout design.

Other duties will include:

• Generating schematic drawings, BOM, Gerber package, bare board documentation and assembly documentation for PCB manufacturing
• Coordination of design projects
• Designing circuits and schematics through use of Cadence

To be suited, you will:
