Job summary

Lynx Recruitment seeks an electronics contractor for a defence-related engineering team in Cambridge. The role is a 6-month initial contract with hybrid onsite work and a rate up to £100ph DOE. You will contribute to hardware design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and validation activities.

Experience with low-level data protocols and board bring-up/testing is required. Defence sector experience and clearance (SC/DV) is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Electronics hardware design and schematic capture (Altium or equivalent).
• Experience with SPI, I2C, Ethernet and Modbus protocols.
• PCB layout design with signal integrity and stack-up considerations.
• Board bring-up, testing and documentation.
• Defence industry experience; SC or DV clearance preferred.
• Cambridge hybrid/onsite work arrangement.

My client in the defence industry require an Electronics contractor to cover resource within the Engineering Team for on an initial 6 month basis.

• Hybrid, Cambridge


• Rate up to £100ph DOE

Requirements:

• Electronics hardware design and schematic capture (using Altium for example).


• Experience with low level data protocols (SPI, I2C, Ethernet, Modbus).


• PCB layout design, including signal integrity and stack-up design.


• Board bring-up, testing and documentation.


• Defence industry experience, ideally SC or DV cleared


• Happy to work onsite/ hybrid in Cambridge
