Job summary

Procter & Chester Measurements (UK) Ltd in Kenilworth, UK is seeking an Electronics & Embedded Systems Engineer to lead the electronic intelligence of our precision load cells. You will develop hardware, firmware, and embedded technologies that convert sensors into smart measurement systems for Industry 4.0, collaborating with production, calibration, and customers.

You will own projects from concept through prototyping and deployment, including PCB design, protocol implementation, and system

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with instrumentation, sensors, or control systems.
• Ability to produce CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Understanding of design control and revision management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, amend, and maintain CAD models and detailed engineering drawings for load cells and strain gauge installations.
• Produce, manage, and control BOMs, specifications, and build instructions for production technicians.
• Act as electronics specialist, working with suppliers to design, develop and test new electronics.
• Lead PCB design for standard load cell product ranges to improve manufacturability and scalability.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to provide technical support, recommendations, and fault diagnosis.
