Job summary
Moog Wolverhampton is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer - Test Systems to develop electronic and electrical solutions from concept to detailed design for integration into complex Test Equipment Systems. You will support Qualification and Production Acceptance testing for Moog Aircraft Flight Control Systems.
The role involves designing analogue and digital electronics, applying safety standards, and providing documentation for development processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic/ Electrical engineering required.
- 3+ years of complex analog/digital electronics design experience.
- Experience with multi-axis, closed-loop, servo-hydraulic test systems advantageous.
- Knowledge of Safety related Equipment and PLC/Motor Drive systems helpful.
- Proficient in diagnostic tools and fault-finding from first principles.
Responsibilities
- Design analogue and digital electronic solutions for Test Equipment Systems.
- Apply safety standards in design and integration of electronic solutions.
- Create and review Test Equipment Proposals and development docs.
- Support root cause investigations across Test Equipment systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain cost controls.
