Job summary

April Quest Ltd in Great Yarmouth is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to take concepts through schematic capture to working PCBs, with a strong hands-on engineering culture and a steady stream of new products.

You'll design and test multilayer PCBs, contribute to design reviews, and work with Manufacturing, Test and Quality to prepare production documents. Experience with KiCad and power electronics is welcome; Linux, C/C++, VHDL or FPGAs are plus.

Qualifications

• Experience creating schematics and designing PCBs.
• Practical experience testing and debugging electronic hardware.
• Ability to own designs and work with other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Designing electronic schematics and multilayer PCBs.
• Building and testing prototypes, investigating faults and refining designs.
• Working across analogue, digital and power electronics.
• Contributing to design reviews and working with Manufacturing, Test and Quality.
• Preparing design files and technical documentation for production.
• Supporting changes and troubleshooting on existing products.
