Job summary

Electronics Assembly Operative in the Tattenhall area of Cheshire is a two-week rota role with a base salary of £25,389 per annum and benefits including private healthcare, annual bonus and an employee ownership scheme. The successful candidate will join a small team, build and test electronic sensors, and work from detailed instructions while training is provided.

Applicants should have good manual dexterity, basic IT literacy, experience with hand tools and a reliable, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Building and assembling electronic sensors and components.
• Soldering wires and attaching cables to products.
• Using adhesives and specialist equipment during the manufacturing process.
• Carrying out assembly, testing and inspection activities to quality standards.
• Reading and following technical drawings and work instructions.
• Deploying software and completing functional product testing.
• Recording faults and production information using internal computer systems.
• Using hand tools safely and accurately.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping and health and safety standards.
• Supporting continuous improvement activities within the manufacturing team.
