Job summary

AWD Online is seeking an Electronics Production Technician in Elstree, Hertfordshire. The role involves hands-on bench assembly, testing, configuration and inspection of wireless electronic products built for customers worldwide.

You will work with a small production team, follow build instructions, use test equipment, and ensure finished products meet quality standards before release. The role requires careful attention to detail, dexterity with small components, and reliable daily commuting to

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience assembling, wiring, testing or configuring electronic products.
• Fine manual dexterity and ability to handle small parts, PCBs and wires.
• A careful, accurate and disciplined approach to repeat build processes and quality standards.
• Ability to follow instructions, spot faults and take responsibility to fix issues.
• Dependable, cooperative and capable of working in a close-knit, output-focused team.
• Basic IT confidence, including use of a desktop PC and standard software.
• Full right to work in the UK and commute to Elstree, Hertfordshire (Essential).

Responsibilities

• Assemble small electronic products and sub-assemblies by hand.
• Carry out wiring and cable assembly, hand placement and occasional soldering.
• Follow build instructions, diagrams and drawings to the required standard.
• Use hand tools and test equipment (meters, electrical test equipment, computer-based tests).
• Configure devices to correct frequency and specification.
• Inspect finished work and identify faults before release.
• Collaborate with production team to meet output targets and quality standards.
