Job summary

Quartzelec is seeking a hands-on Assembly and Manufacturing Lead to head the assembly of condition monitoring equipment. The role requires a strong electronics background, effective team leadership, and solid resource planning to deliver safe, high‑quality outputs.

You will supervise the assembly team, plan workloads, and ensure on‑time delivery within budget while upholding quality standards and SOPs. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in manufacturing, solid electronics

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment with supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong electronics knowledge and hands-on technical capability.
• Good IT/Software skills.
• Ability to lead teams, plan workloads and manage competing priorities.
• HNC/City & Guilds or equivalent in Electro-mechanical Engineering (or similar).

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 Depending on Experience & Skills

The Role

Responsible for leading, coordinating and supporting the assembly and manufacture of condition monitoring equipment, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality delivery through effective team leadership, resource planning, and continuous improvement. Supports operational performance, cost control and delivery commitments.

This is a hands-on role requiring a strong background in electronics, together with good IT/Software skills.
