Job summary

Office Angels in Thanet, Kent is seeking a Production Operative to support the electronics manufacturing team. You will assist with assembly, inspection and manufacturing processes while following documented work instructions to maintain high workmanship and safety standards.

Soldering experience is required. The role runs Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 12:45pm, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly or production.
• Familiarity with health and safety requirements in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow written instructions, technical documentation, and manufacturing procedures for electronic products.
• Undertake assembly tasks and manufacturing activities to meet schedules and quality requirements.
• Participate in training across all areas of production (assembly, testing, packing, dispatch).
• Ensure products meet required quality standards and specifications.
• Work with colleagues to meet production targets and customer expectations.
• Escalate production, quality, or equipment issues promptly to supervision.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
